1.

Who we are

JetFed is a trading name of PROAIR Aviation Limited ("JetFed", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Jersey. We act as an aircraft charter broker, allowing you to search for, book and pay for private charter flights.

This Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect about you, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information processed through this website and our booking services.

If you have any questions about this notice or how we handle your information, contact us at privacy@jetfed.com or by post at [PROAIR Aviation Limited, registered office address — to be confirmed].

2.

Information we collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • Information you give us when you create an account: your first and last name, email address, telephone number and the password you set. If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address and a unique identifier from that provider instead of a password.
  • Passenger and travel-document details you provide to complete a booking: passenger names, date of birth, nationality, and passport information (passport number, issuing country and expiry date). This is identity-document information that we collect because it is required to arrange and operate a flight.
  • Booking information: the flights you search for and book, departure and arrival airports, dates, aircraft category, passenger numbers and related preferences.
  • Payment information: charter payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Relm) on their hosted checkout. We do not store full payment-card or wallet details on our systems; we receive confirmation of payment status and limited transaction details.
  • Communications: the contents of emails and messages you exchange with us, including booking confirmations, passport-related requests and support enquiries.
  • Technical and usage information collected automatically when you use the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and actions taken, gathered through our first-party analytics and strictly necessary cookies.
3.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
  • arrange, confirm and operate the charter flights you book, including providing the necessary passenger and passport details to the aircraft operator;
  • process payments and issue confirmations, invoices and refunds;
  • communicate with you about your bookings and respond to your enquiries;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, aviation, customs, immigration and security obligations;
  • keep the service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and maintain and improve the website.
4.

Our lawful bases for processing

We rely on different lawful bases depending on the activity: performance of our contract with you (to provide and manage your bookings and account); compliance with a legal obligation (for example aviation, border-control and anti-fraud requirements); our legitimate interests (to secure, operate and improve the service, where these are not overridden by your rights); and your consent where it is required, such as for non-essential cookies or optional marketing.

Passport and travel-document information is necessary to perform our contract with you and to meet the legal and regulatory requirements of operating a flight. Where applicable law treats any of this information as a special category of data, we process it only to the extent permitted and with appropriate safeguards.

Providing the account, passenger and passport details we ask for is a requirement for booking and operating a flight. If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to create your account or arrange and operate your booking.

5.

How we share your information

We share personal information only where necessary, with:

  • Aircraft operators and carriers who operate the flights you book, including the passenger and passport details required to carry you lawfully;
  • Our payment provider (Relm) to process charter payments;
  • Government, border, customs, immigration and aviation authorities where required by law or to operate a flight;
  • Service providers who act on our behalf, such as email/SMTP delivery, cloud hosting and first-party website analytics, under contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only as instructed;
  • Professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information.

6.

International transfers

Operating charter flights is inherently international, and some of the parties we share information with (such as aircraft operators and authorities at your destination) may be located outside Jersey, the UK or the EEA. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as transfers to countries recognised as providing an adequate level of protection or the use of standard contractual clauses.

7.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide our services. After that, we retain information only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, tax, aviation and regulatory requirements, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Passport and booking records are retained in line with the record-keeping obligations that apply to air travel. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

8.

How we protect your information

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), authenticated and access-controlled administrative functions, and restricting access to personal information to those who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately to any security incident.

9.

Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask us to delete your information where there is no legal reason for us to keep it;
  • ask us to restrict or object to certain processing;
  • request portability of the information you provided to us;
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@jetfed.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority — in Jersey, the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

10.

Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure, and we use first-party, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. For more detail about the cookies and similar technologies we use, please see our Cookie Statement.

11.

Signing in with Google or LinkedIn

If you choose to sign in using Google or LinkedIn, that provider authenticates you and shares a limited set of information with us — your name, email address and a unique account identifier — so we can create or access your JetFed account. We do not receive your social-media password. Your use of those providers is governed by their own privacy policies, and you can manage or revoke the connection in your account settings with that provider.

12.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you, or that similarly significantly affect you, based solely on automated processing. While we use automated systems to calculate indicative pricing and to present flight options, these do not constitute solely automated decisions of the kind requiring your explicit consent or a contractual necessity exemption, and a person is involved in confirming your booking.

13.

Children

JetFed is intended for adults and account holders must be 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children to create accounts. Where passenger details for a minor are provided as part of a booking, they are supplied by the responsible adult making the booking.

14.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Please review this notice periodically.
